Tim Berlin

Former Senior Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Clinton Township, MI

In October 2011, Bro. Berlin accepted the call to serve as senior pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Clinton Township, MI. As of 2024, he has entered retirement and continues to preach as an itinerant minister. Pastor Berlin accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of eight during a revival meeting with evangelist Tom Farrell. He grew up in Columbiaville, MI, and graduated from Juniata Christian School in 1987. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Bible from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in 1991, followed by a master’s degree from Northland Baptist Bible College in 2003. He was honored with a Doctor of Divinity from Alabama Baptist University in 2021. Before his pastorate at Faith Baptist Church, he served for fourteen years as a youth pastor and later spent eight years as senior pastor at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Logansport, IN. Pastor Berlin and his wife, Michelle, have cherished the joy of raising their, now married, four sons—Nathan, Stephen, Andrew, and Jonathan—and are now embracing the blessings of six grandbabies as their family continues to grow.

Bedding for a single bed or a sleeping bag, toiletries, towels, and your Bible, pen or pencil, notebook, and a teachable spirit.

Pastor Ormiston wants to be a blessing to you and add some more “tools” to your “ministry toolbox” as you seek to serve God. We are confident you will be challenged and encouraged by the sessions. We hope to see you there! Please note: This Toolbox is limited to pastoral staff members, missionaries, or evangelists. Men must be at least college-age and involved in some sort of pastoral capacity to attend.
